What do we know about interpersonal dysfunction, and what do we know about working with it, to manage risks, and support change?
The causes of interpersonal dysfunction are complex. Societal factors, family and community systemic influences, and the characteristics of individuals are all important. The mix of these factors is different for different types of interpersonal dysfunction and for different individuals. This requires organizations to develop specialized targeted interventions that remain flexible to clients’ needs.
Reconnect conducts research that adds to the evidence for effective practice. As findings become public, they appear as publications on this site.
We have also been summarizing some key topics and making them available to organizations that we support for some time. These summaries are currently being collected into a knowledge base that will gradually become available to our members during 2025.
